66, of Van Wert, died in the a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011, at his home.
He was born August 28, 1944, in Van Wert, the son of Chester and Isabel (Kiggins) Dangler who both preceded him in death. He married Marcia (Snyder) Dangler who survives in Van Wert.
Mr. Dangler retired from Herbert E. Orr Company in Paulding after 40 years.
Survivors include four children, Peggy (Steve) Ferguson of Scott, Phillip Dangler of Paulding, Eric (Mandi) Dangler of Van Wert and Jessica Dangler of Van Wert; 3 Step-children, Tina Hammond, Eric (Allison) Hammond and Neil (Tonya) Hammond all of Van Wert; a brother, Paul (Della) Dangler of Van Wert; a sister, Darlene Fulk of Decatur, IN; a father-in-law, Hermie Snyder of Scott; 3 nieces, Michelle (Billy) Bressler of Decatur, IN, Renee Runyon and Jackie Murray; 11 grandchildren, Amanda and Amber Ferguson, Derrek Dangler, Hope Dangler, Harley, Alicia and Jordon Danylchuck, Mia Kelley, Rylan and Kylerr Burnett, Arianna Snyder; 9 Step-grandchildren, Starrae and Crystal Protsman, Eric "EJ" Hammond, Jr., Nick Hammond, Markie Agler, Chris Goins, Tanner Houser, Logan and Mercades Hammond, 2 Great-grandchildren, Braddex Agler and Gavin Hammond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nieces, Kimberly Bowersock and Paula Ann Dangler, Nephew, Mitchell Eugene Barns, Jr., Great Niece, Brandi Bowersock and Brothers-in-law, Robert and Tony Grieshaber.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Greg Wack officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 28, at the funeral home.
