Sandra Lynn Stevens

VAN WERT, Ohio - Sandra Lynn Stevens, 60, of Van Wert, died at 10:35 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born Sept. 4, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Melvin Stevens and Myretta (Merricle) Stevens.

She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (Kenneth) Beasley of Decatur, Mich., Sharon Stevens of Van Wert, Marie (Craig) Duff of Kenton, Ohio, Kate (Al) Pardon of Punta Gorda, Fla., Gaythel (Bruce) Davis of Van Wert, Darlene (Tom) Nowak of Convoy, Ohio, and Linda (Al) Zimmerman and Sheila (Ken) Johnson, both of Van Wert, brothers, Dan (Deb) Stevens of Convoy and Ed (Vicki) Stevens (brother) of Van Wert, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Milo Stevens and Russ Stevens.

She was employed at Thomas Edison and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Van Wert.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Philip Zielinski will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Van Wert.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, from 2 to 6 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, from 9 a.m. till time of service.
