Troy R. Talbott

Troy R. Talbott, 67, of Van Wert died on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:57 PM at Lutheran Hospital Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born July 16, 1944 in Big Stone Gap, VA, the son of Floyd Marcus and Mae (Back) Talbott, who both preceded him in death. He was a long time resident of Claiborne County, TN.

Troy is survived by Ruth Healy, Beloved Companion of 12 years; his children, Christine Manning, Cathy (Martin Paul) Talbott Newman, John Marcus Talbott, all of Grover Hill, OH and Kimberly Linton of Ruffin, NC; Siblings, Lissie (Phillip) Kirk of Van Wert, OH, Nancy (Jim) Scott of Grover Hill, OH, Laura (Leonard) Subler of Van Wert, OH and Doug (Margaret "Bunny") Talbott of Charloe, OH; Grandchildren, Tabatha (Cory) Maynard of Grover Hill, OH, Zachary Manning of Milford Center, OH, Dustin Allen (Kindall) Brooks of Grover Hill, OH, Samuel Holley of Grover Hill, OH, Duaine Healy of Van Wert, OH, Stevanna Linton of Convoy, OH, Logan and Ivy Linton both of Middlesboro, KY; Great-Grandchildren, Faith Maynard, Justin Manning and Jaydan Maynard all of Grover Hill, OH, Kaden Healy of Rose Hill, VA and Aurora Linton of Convoy, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two children in infancy, Troy Talbott Jr. and Tina Marie Talbott, a sister, Betty Simindinger, two brothers, Charles and Marcus Talbott.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Brickner Funeral Home Van Wert, Ohio with a service following at 3:00 PM, K.C. Klarner will be officiating.

A dinner will follow the service at the VFW on the corner of N. Shannon & Jackson St. in Van Wert.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
