Dorothea June Tozzer (Tozzer) Baker

Dorothea June Tozzer Baker, age 81, of Van Wert, died at 12:03 PM Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Van Wert Co. Hospital. She was born June 25, 1934, in Van Wert to the late Wade W. and Mildred (Schlossberg) Tozzer. On October 27, 1951, she married C. Robert Baker who preceded her in death August 16, 1995.
She is survived by her children: David W. Baker of Columbus, Ohio- Daniel J. Baker of Greeley, Colorado- Barbara E. (Rex) Mihm of Decatur, IN- Diane L. (Joe) Metzger of Ft. Jennings, Ohio-14 grandchildren and 29 great-granchildren. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Douglas A. Baker and 2 sisters, Winifred Chomiak and Ailene Neiford.
She was a graduate of Van Wert High School and was employed as a supervisor by the former Van Wert Telephone Co.
She knew the Lord as her Savior.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at the Brickner Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Millay officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home from 2 - 8 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015, and 1 hour prior to Services on Wednesday.
