Paul Jackson

Paul Jackson, 88, of Van Wert died Friday November 6,2015, at 10:25 AM at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home. He was born January 24, 1927, in Flat Lick, Kentucky, the son of the late Latimore and Bessie (Graham) Jackson.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia L. (Martz) Jackson of Van Wert: Sons Carl (Andrea) Jackson of Fort Wayne, IN- Douglas (Cheryl) Jackson of Waynedale, IN- Step-Daughters Cheryl S. (Dave) Prior of Van Wert and Beth (Paul) Hitchcock of Gatlinburg, TN. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Michael Jackson and Step-Daughter Sandra Burnett.
Paul had spent many years employed by Sears as a retail sales representative.
He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and had proudly served his country during WWII as a member of the US Navy.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at 10:30 AM at Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery where Military Graveside Rites will be given by the combined Honors Unit of American Legion Post 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803. Friends may call at Brickner Funeral Home Monday, Nov. 9, from 2 - 6 PM and Tuesday from 9:30 AM to time of Services at Liberty Baptist Church.
